Eh...
Why do people still write about this kind of subject matter... I really don't understand it. I have seen no less than 10 books about this kind of system where there are bugs and the protagonist gradually becomes stronger through training. Some are fantasy and some have urban superpowers. None of them are explosive. The main reason is that this kind of subject matter is really difficult to write about. What is the difference between this step-by-step practice and traditional fantasy? The plot goes back and forth just to see how the system goes crazy. The protagonist meets so-and-so today, meets so-and-so tomorrow, and then gets some reward. There are no ups and downs at all. There is no conflict point at all in the plot. Without conflict, there is no slap in the face, and there is nothing exciting. If you want to write comedy, not everyone can write it. If you don't have enough experience and writing skills, the comedy you write will be too embarrassing. It is a boring subject that should be discarded.
