Boarder's Notes
About This Novel
The daily life of high school boarding student Lin Xiaoman unfolds: On the first day she moved into dormitory 302, she met her carefree roommate Chen Xi, the quiet top student Su Xiao, and the boy from the next class, Lu Zhou, who always liked to "drop in". From the bell ringing for morning exercises in the early morning and the rush for food in the canteen, to the whispers in the dormitory late at night, and cramming before the exam; from watching the sunset together on the playground, to staying up late to practice singing for the class chorus competition, to the ignorant thoughts hidden in the textbooks... The story does not have ups and downs, but uses small fragments to connect the warmth and growth of boarding life - there are bickering and mutual help among roommates, small episodes in class, confusion and expectations for the future, and even those little unspoken thoughts in adolescence. It is like a diary full of details, recording how a group of teenagers used companionship to resist loneliness in a closed campus, diluted stress with laughter, and finally quietly left the mark of their youth in ordinary days.
