About This Novel
I am a seventh-rank household official, and I was framed as a pawn in the court and imprisoned. While waiting to die, he heard the sound of pipa playing from deep inside the death cell. The pipa player was a thin little girl who claimed to be a concubine princess from the cold palace. She sneaked out at night just to play a requiem for the dying person. "Master Zhou, the sound of the piano can make you cry." She plucked the strings with her fingertips and cried for me. Later, I gave up my official position for her and hijacked her car on the way to see her get married. As the carriage rushed into the reeds, she put her arms around my neck and said, "My moon has come to pick me up."
