About This Novel

The first part of "Her Country" is a rather special story that cannot be summarized in a few words. The title of the book was a bit random. It was originally intended to be about the resistance and determination of two women who were tools of the Communist Party, but later I found that it was far from that simple. In ancient times, a woman's life experience was complicated, including her subordination in external power and her position in internal power, her unfulfilled ambition, and her long-term love for being alone. Power and profit, love and desire were difficult to sort out, and it was even more confusing for a girl who was no more than 30 years old. The protagonist in the story is also such a woman. In an era filled with tragedy, absurdity, and depression, under the pressure of the three mountains of King, Father, and God, no innocent life can escape. No matter what your identity is, how much talent you have, or what your family background is, you are just an outcast of the times, a pet to play with, and an exile of yourself. There is nothing that can be done about it. It cannot be changed by a few lives or hundreds of years. They naturally resist, with different methods, some violent, some silent, some crazy. They may be traditional good wives and mothers, chaste and martyr girls, they may be strange female monks, promiscuous women, celibates, talented women, officials, or even women at all in the eyes of others, but their lives are all the same sad, but some compromise, some go crazy, that's all. Some people say this is a tragedy of the times, but that is not necessarily true. What they want is just a clear space, but human desires will not expand to fill the world and even destroy them. They just want to live, living in a human manner, which is ridiculously humble. It's time to cry after it's ridiculous. For thousands of years, there are always people who have not been treated as human beings. Even if they are covered in jewelry, red makeup, and held in the palm of their lives, they can't change their obsession with being human. But dignity is too extravagant after all. It is so extravagant that it should not be imposed on others and should not exist in it. Maybe a man still has the pride of conquering the country and seizing the golden palace to snatch the beauty. The smoke, rain and red makeup of the Six Dynasties may be able to cover up the endless entanglement of life and death between heaven and earth. But the daughter's family, who is used to seeing wind and frost swords, has long understood that it is just a big dream. No matter how much love, hate and separation there are in the past, it is just a puppet on the line. The story contains many ambitions and long-lasting love, and all the chaos of the Nine Kingdoms combined with all kinds of absurdities in the history books are presented. The flowing water in the south and the wailing of the war horses in the north are inexplicable chaos. The appearance of hundreds of women with different personalities only borrows the three approaches of seeking truth and liberation. These are just the author's obsessions and fantasies, not worth mentioning, but the compassion and confusion behind it lies under the stupid and coke words. Useless and scattered stories hang here, and I hope that those who are destined will shed tears for this ridiculous dream that looks like a withered bone turning into a butterfly.
