About This Novel

Zimmer, a cultural relic restoration expert, encounters supernatural phenomena one after another after coming into contact with a bronze compass from the Ming Dynasty: a faceless man reflected in the museum glass, a "living statue" warning in his father's recording before his disappearance, and a rotating dragon's eye on the underwater archway of the Yangtze River. He organized an expedition team to dive into the underwater tomb, and found that the coffin contained "vital signs" with a constant temperature of 37°C. However, the team members died unexpectedly one after another - some had their eyeballs pierced by gray fingers protruding from the wall, and some were corroded into skeletons by the black liquid seeping out of the bronze coffin. As the investigation deepened, Zimmer discovered that his father did not simply disappear, but voluntarily stayed in the tomb to suppress something that "should not exist in the world." The final clue points to the "Yuhua Tomb" in the crater of Yunnan, where Guo Tianhuan's "Dragon Burial Instrument" refined by living people is buried there, and the compass is the key to starting the instrument...
