About This Novel

This book is a collection of 378 five-character and seven-character poems that reflect the Shanghai World Expo. It is based on the author's thoughts and feelings from the days and nights he experienced from participating in the preparations to the opening of the World Expo. After the Chinese version was published, it was well received by relevant people. This volume is published in Chinese and English format and is accompanied by exquisite color pictures. Ye Xin, a famous writer in Shanghai, and Los Certes, secretary-general of the Bureau International des Expositions, wrote prefaces for this book.
