Japanese Internet: When searching for "husband" on a search engine, the first associated word automatically displayed is "go die." Interview by Miki Kobayashi: Although the degree is different, the interviewees all had the idea of wishing their husbands to "die". Why don't resentful wives divorce? Shame consciousness, the restraint of virtue of patience, invisible discrimination and disrespect have made many women disappointed in life? To what extent do the employment environment and social security system affect the quality of life of ordinary people? Miki Kobayashi has been a freelance journalist since 2007. In 2013, he won the Poverty News Reporting Award. As a freelance journalist for 14 years, her reports have always focused on issues such as employment, marriage, childbirth and childcare, and returning to the workplace. Through the experiences of 15 interviewees, she continues to ask: What is a couple, what is a marriage, and what is a family? It records the female perspective as it is, while supplementing the male perspective. While reflecting on fixed concepts, it also asks questions about workplace culture and social environment, giving readers of all ages an opportunity to think deeply about marriage, individuals, society and family.
