It's well written. I've read a few chapters and there's nothing toxic about it. I just feel like there's a little too much emotional drama, which looks quite awkward. And the fact that the newly born Monarch Snake has so many skills does feel a bit distorted. I'd rather write more about the elves. The emotional drama can be integrated into the plot so there's no need to write too much about daily life.

Menas's words are absolutely fine. There should still be Orange Islands and the Rampurchi here. I think you can catch Menas from the captain on the way to Lampurchi from the Gold City.
