"The Legend of Ghosts and Gods" tells the story of karma and retribution, consisting of four volumes and eighteen chapters. The last three chapters are from Volume 10 of "Ancient and Modern Novels", "Teng Dayin's Ghost Seizes Household Property". This book has no preface and postscript. It is a collection of short stories, "Yin Yang Manifestation: The Water Ghost Ascends to the City God (Complete Biography)". The author does not name the author. The whole book describes righteous gods and ghosts helping good and punishing evil. The plot of the story is not very tortuous, but it upholds righteousness and makes sense. It is a comforting read.
