"The Complete Works of Rilke" is translated based on the 12-volume "The Complete Works of Rilke" (RainerMairaRilke. S? MtlicheWerkeinzw? LfB? Nden) published by Island Publishing House in 1975. The Chinese version has 11 volumes in total. This volume contains nine of Rilke's early plays, all of which are narrative. Verse plays are included in the fifth volume. These nine works are arranged in the order of creation time. Among them, "In the Spring Cold", "Now and When We Die..." And "Everyday Life" have all been performed in Prague or Vienna. Of the nine plays in this volume (including one unfinished work), three have been published in periodicals, two have been published by publishing houses, and the rest were not published during Rilke's lifetime.
