What is it like to have a mother-in-law who favors sons over daughters? Before we got married, she thought I could not give birth to a child and asked my husband to divorce me. She was afraid that I would give medicine to my husband who had real health problems, so he installed surveillance cameras in our home. He even called a goddess to see if the child in my belly was a boy or a girl.
