Youth is always beautiful. I have always wanted to write a novel about pain and growth. I tried to write it many times in high school, but I struggled with not having time to come up with ideas. Tracing back to the source, the original manuscript of this book is the short story "Missing in the Fragrance of Roses" that I wrote in 2015 (it is a short story about family love, if you want to read it, I will write it later). Six years is enough to change a lot of things. I spent a long time adding, deleting and modifying based on the original manuscript. Part of the plot of this book is the real experience of a very good friend of mine. She told it to me, and I will tell it to you. Not every relationship has an ending, even if you give it everything you have. It took Shen Yiyi seven years to say goodbye to Tao Ban, and Li Xikan traced Shen Yiyi's era.
