writer of sensational headlines! Three-body and ball lightning have nothing to do with each other!
Writer of sensational headlines! Three-body and ball lightning have nothing to do with each other! The prequel to The Three-Body Problem is not a story in the same world line at all! At most, it's just a few characters with the same character (such as Ding Yi) But other than that, Da Liu's book is still very good. It's really worth reading. Five-star recommendation.
Brain hatch
A young man holding the wind threw a pebble at the rusty iron door of my house in the quiet night. . . The sound and sparks produced by the high-speed collision between the stone and the iron door not only angered me who was deeply sleepy, but also opened the rolling shutter door that blocked my thoughts. Rolling up my sleeves and reading at night, I am now sitting on a boat, facing the lashing lightning and thunderstorm, rowing through the long and ups and downs of time, speeding towards the "Three Body" world.
Ding Yi and Lin Yun in The Three-Body Problem
Sometimes when we say goodbye, we don't know that we are saying goodbye, or even goodbye forever. (The article is reprinted, and the copyright belongs to the original author) -------------------------------------------------------- In 2004, Ding Yi discovered macroatoms while cooperating with Lin Yun to study ball lightning. (28 Years old) In 2006, Ding Yi met Wang Miao at the construction site of the "China II" high-energy accelerator project. (29 Years old) In early 2007, Ding Yi and Yang Dong got engaged in Beijing, China. Ding Yi reunited with Wang Miao, bought a three-bedroom wedding house in Beijing, and his fiancée Yang Dong committed suicide. (37 Years old) Year 7 of the Crisis Era (2015) Ding Yi and Zhang Beihai met on the "High Frontier" and informed each other that the development of controllable nuclear fusion was artificially restricted. (42 Years old) Controlled nuclear fusion was successfully developed in the 12th year of the Crisis Era (2020). Ding Yi met with Zhang Beihai for the second time and told him some inside information about the aerospace system. (Age 76) Ding Yi entered hibernation in the 49th year of the Crisis Era (2056). (76 Years old 149) Crisis Era 197 (2205) Ding Yi wakes up and teaches in the Physics Department of Peking University. (83 Years old 149) Crisis Era 204 (2212) Ding Yi proposed to be the first person to examine water droplets, and was finally approved. (84 Years old 149) In the 205th year of the Crisis Era (2213), Ding Yi and Bai Ice had their final conversation in the North China Plain. Then Ding Yi inspected the "Water Drop" and died in battle at the age of 84. -------------------- The last thing Ding Yi saw was Lin Yun in the quantum ghost state. This violates the setting that the female lead survives the catastrophe and eventually goes to happiness with the male protagonist. Liu must have some backup plans waiting to save Lin Yun from the quantum state. Then there was The Three-Body Problem, which was about another woman, Ye Wenjie, interspersed with stories about Luo Ji, Yang Dong, and Wang Miao. The story comes to an end in the first round of self-salvation of the people on earth, conveying the dark forest theory of the universe, the chain of suspicion and the explosion of technology in front of Yang Dong's tomb. But there is Ding Yi in the story, who did a conservation of constant experiment with a billiard ball, and Lin Yun did not appear. When Luo Ji became a wall-facer in Three-Body 2, only a few people understood that Ding Yi smiled miserably when he mentioned ball lightning. He recalled Lin Yun and the children in the quantum ghost state. As the energy spread, they eventually disappeared. Only the memory could still remain in the past, but he could never go back. Ding Yi eventually became a wise, kind and stubborn little old man. He had a premonition that the water droplets were not kind, and laughed at the arrogance of human beings. However, he still decided to try the risk himself, and eventually died in the water droplet attack. Ding Yi studied macro-atoms and nuclear fusion all his life. He once met and lost Lin Yun, and he often thought about her. Ding Yi experienced many misfortunes in his life, but in the end he was still able to look at the world with a smile. He took a risk and died, which was considered a well-deserved death. Off topic: Lin Yun appears twice in The Three-Body Problem. It can be seen that Ding Yi still has deep feelings for Lin Yun. Moreover, the Quantum Ghost Plan proposed by Wall Facer Taylor also connects the three-body and ball flash very well. I think if Lin Yun was still around, Taylor's Wall Face Plan might not be successful. But I have to say that Lin Yun is indeed the most attractive female character in Liu's works.
I couldn't find it not long ago, but I saw it today and added it to my bookshelf. After a quick browse, I think it looks good. I hope you all like it😊
Is there really order in the world?
Why can macroelectrons (i. E. Ball lightning) hit the target accurately only when there is an observer, otherwise they will only enter a free state? Why can a chip transformed into a macroatomic state function normally without an observer? Do the laws in the world really exist? Or is it a technological lock more advanced than Tomoko? Let us "bugs" think we have found the so-called law?
I don't understand people who jump to conclusions without looking carefully.
I don't understand those who jump to conclusions without reading carefully. Ball lightning is mentioned many times in Three-Body Problem, and why Lin Yun insists on saying that the two books are irrelevant?
Too few comments
I have listened to the audiobook of Ball Flash and Three-Body Problem no less than five times, and I know the general content of it very well. I bought the e-book just to read the reviews and see the discussions among netizens. After buying the book, I realized that there were not as many comments on the e-book as there were on one chapter of the audio book, which made me feel a little unhappy!
very nice
After watching The Three-Body Problem and then watching Ball Lightning, Liu's imagination once again refreshed my understanding of science fiction.
It's like walking through a different and romantic life
A romantic science fiction work full of philosophy, suspense and idealism She can bring back childhood memories that have long been buried in her heart A ray of beautiful hope ignited It can also make people unconsciously use superficial physics knowledge to make assumptions about the world. There is philosophical speculation and scientific rigor. Behind the desperate stubbornness and strength There is often hidden weakness and sentimentality that cannot be touched
