Chinese Mother in Toronto
by Sophia W
About This Novel
A group of middle-aged mothers from different regions of China met in the same place in a foreign country - Toronto, Canada. They originally had different identities, different experiences, and different visions: Yuan Li, Hu Ling, Jacqueline, Xiao Mo and Catherine. They gave up their social roles in China and started a new life in a foreign country for themselves and their underage children. Challenges, conflicts, transformations, entanglements, anxiety, thinking, relief... The winter in Canada is long and the snow is white. The love of mothers warms the heart. The story is full of personal experience and characteristics of the times. The pearl-like information is embedded in the natural and interesting narrative, and the insights are thorough and bright.
