His wife Ling Fei never left her, and a year later, Lin Qingyuan miraculously recovered. Under the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, he regained consciousness, but his control function still required physical therapy. Due to financial constraints, he interrupted his rehabilitation treatment in Beijing, but unexpectedly contracted the hospital restaurant. With the help of friends, the restaurant was running smoothly and he could barely pay for the treatment. But as fate would have it, his wife Ling Fei died suddenly of a heart attack, and Lin Qingyuan had to return home. After that, Lin Qingyuan lived in poverty and rented a house. During countless sleepless nights, he looked up at the night sky and thought about his hope in life.
