About This Novel

The research focus of this book is the issue of "ambiguity of words" in modern Chinese poetry. Taking the "word" in the language of modern Chinese poetry as the foothold, taking the ancient and modern changes in the discourse paradigm of Chinese poetry as the starting point for research, taking the differences between classical Chinese poetry and modern Chinese poetry as the major premise, taking classical Chinese poetry as the frame of reference, taking the existence of modern Chinese poetry as the research foothold, and based on the combination of the elaboration of poetic concepts and the close reading of poetic texts. Starting from the "word" of modern Chinese poetry, it systematically discusses the connotation, characteristics, functions, necessity and rationality of existence, reasons for generation, operating mechanism, expression strategies, meaning and influence of "ambiguity of words" from two dimensions: vertical (history and changes) and horizontal (specific poetic texts), macro and micro dimensions.
