This volume contains interviews with fifteen Special Olympics coaches. Most of them have been exposed to Special Olympics for many years, have practical experience in training Special Olympics athletes, and are familiar with the development of Special Olympics in China at the grassroots level. Coaches are the link between Special Olympics, children with intellectual disabilities, and their parents. Through studying in special schools and being trained by coaches, children can acquire the basic abilities to participate in social activities. They uphold the belief of "changing a child, warming a family", creating more opportunities and better platforms for all children with intellectual disabilities, so that society can see the abilities of people with intellectual disabilities through sports and be willing to accept them.
