About This Novel

Liu Rongen (1908-2001) was a new poet, book critic, translator, good at painting, and a lover of Western classical music. He has been rarely mentioned for a long time. He is a poet who has not been discovered by the history of modern literature or the history of new poetry. However, in recent years, some modern literature researchers, especially young scholars, have begun to pay attention to it. Liu Rongen published a total of six poetry collections before 1949. Such rich creations were rare at the time. Because Liu Rongen went to the UK in 1948, the research community has little understanding of his situation; his collection of poems has been printed in very few copies and has been lost in most libraries, making it even more difficult to find them all. This book compiles all six of the poet's works, which provides researchers with convenience for research and is also a meaningful rescue of such lost new poetry documents.
