Trust Lesson between Peach Eggs and Steamed Buns
by Love On The Other Side Of The Mountain
About This Novel
Lin Xiaoman, a newcomer in the workplace, fell into a crisis of trust because she helped her colleague Sister Zhang to sign and clock in for her: Sister Zhang asked for a signature on the grounds that her child had a fever. Xiaoman agreed because of her past care (ginger tea, overtime function), but was denied by Sister Zhang when HR checked and monitored. Xiaoman received a warning and discussed with his colleagues, falling into loneliness and despair. In the end, Sister Zhang took the initiative to confess to Xiaoman out of guilt - she was afraid of being fired for taking too much leave and being unable to raise her children. The real pressure made her choose to lie. Xiaoman understood her difficulties, and the two re-established trust through "Brown Sugar Steamed Buns" and "New Peach Eggs". The lies and misunderstandings in the workplace were finally resolved by the warmth of human nature.
