About This Novel

This novel is based on all plots of the Chinese classical literature "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio" (including its spin-off movies "A Chinese Ghost Story" and "Bai Qiulian"), and incorporates a large number of K-ON! Elements. In this novel, Yui Hirasawa and Akiyama Mio will transform into two Mermaids transformed from two different species of fish from the East China Sea (Yui is a red-headed fish, and Mio is a cobia), while Azusa Nakano will transform into a terrifying ghost (and a lonely ghost), and Tainaka Ritsu and Kotobuki Mugi will leave the secular world (including the K-ON department) to become Taoist priests in a Taoist temple.
