In Qinghe High School in a small coastal town in the south, Ye Ning, a freshman in high school, clumsily recorded the wrinkles and glimmers of her sixteenth year in a notebook with a faded cover. From getting lost in the cafeteria on the first day of transfer, to the pile of old books gathering dust on the window sill of the literature club; from the "coffee war" with the science genius girl, to sharing Taiyaki on the rooftop at three in the morning; from "Primrose" being played out of tune in the chorus competition, to the crushed sunset on the abandoned railroad track at the beach - when the label of "unsociable" is torn off, and when loneliness becomes the prism for dialogue with the world, the girl finally discovers that the essence of youth is not to be defined, but to grow clumsily and enthusiastically.
