This book replaces the traditional "native novel" with modern "nostalgia novels", examines emotion, form and modernity at a logical level, and elucidates the modern connotation of literature by analyzing the relationship between the writer's "nostalgia" writing style and literary form. This paper uses the time and space of "nostalgia" and the characteristics of nostalgia to gain a glimpse into the aesthetic characteristics of modern Chinese "nostalgia novels", and then examines the interaction between human emotions, history and politics, and the way they respond to the impact of modernity. The "difference" narrative method followed by modern Chinese "nostalgia novels" also includes respect for life itself, the awakening of self-consciousness, the appeal for enlightenment and national salvation consciousness, and the identification of the nation-state imagination.
