About This Novel

This is not a success story. This is a story about brokenness, falling, and how to learn to breathe again on the ruins of life. He once thought that the camera could freeze the ideal shape, but he failed to see clearly that the director of life never left him a script. Twenty years of light and shadow have intertwined, and he has gone from a young man in white with a film dream to a humble speculator seeking money at the wine table; from a pure soul who believes in art, to a businessman who survives in the gap between cost and box office. He once chased the spotlight crazily, but in the end he was burned to pieces by the blazing light. This is a cruel calculation about "gain" and "loss": He spent twenty years of youth in exchange for turbulence and exhaustion in the industry; he staked all his wealth and dignity in exchange for a broken agreement and a mountain of debt; the safe haven he thought he could take care of also turned into cold ink on the divorce agreement amid endless quarrels. When debt collection calls flooded his life, and when only an old video camera covered with dust remained in the rental house, he became the smallest footnote in this society - debt, divorce, and the bankruptcy of his dreams. In the darkest abyss, he completely lost weight. But doesn't dust deserve to have its own storm?

The writing is more realistic, and it is true. At the beginning of our twenties, we entered the society with ideals, love and innocence. Only after experiencing too many changes did we know how to grow. If ideals are not worth money, then the film is worth money.
