About This Novel

The most beautiful poem I have ever heard was written by a monk: The world is safe and sound, and I can live up to the Tathagata and live up to you. I didn't know what this meant at the time, until I became the God of Dreams, in charge of the world's mortal world, seen life and death, and figured out the so-called world of mortals. I finally understand what greed, anger, and ignorance are, what resentment and hatred are... I can see anyone's dream, because my responsibility is to create a happy dream for those who have regrets. What they cannot do in this mortal world and dare not ask for, I can do for them. The price is just a drop of their tears, and a drop of tear exchanges for relief in the next life. I can fulfill the dreams of many people, but I am the only one missing out on myself...
