About This Novel
This novel mainly tells about the two families of Zhu Changgui and Zhao Yikai, and some mutual responsibility issues between adults and children. Liu Shuzhen was gentle and beautiful, but her father forced her to change her brother's wife and marry Zhu Changgui. She lived in poverty after marriage and no one in her family took care of her. Liu Shuzhen blamed all the suffering on her father because he favored sons over daughters.
