Three Apartments in the School District Were All Given to My Brother, and I Only Received One Iou
by Egg King
About This Novel
"The whole house belongs to your brother." Dad pushed several real estate contracts on the table. "It's not easy for your brother to get divorced and raise children. He has to have a house to live with." "This IOU is for you. It's what your second uncle owes our family. Whatever you want in return is yours." That was an IOU from twenty years ago. The second uncle had disappeared long ago, so it was just a piece of waste paper. "You have a good job and can afford a house in a big city. Don't compete with your brother for these three melons and two dates." My mother also helped, "You can't be too greedy." I swallowed what I was about to say. I took a look at the contracts for three off-plan houses. "Okay." I put away the IOU, "The house belongs to my brother, and the debt belongs to me."
