About This Novel

Each chapter of "The Writing Form of Literary History and Cultural Politics" is discussed in a slightly chronological order: from the establishment of the Constitution of the Capital University in the late Qing Dynasty and the modern "literary" subject concept, to the relationship with the writing of the "literary history" in the initial period, to Hu Shi's construction of a far-reaching view of literary history with the "Vernacular Literary Movement" around the "May 4th Movement", to Lin Geng's "poetic heart" in the 1940s to evoke the "amazing" "Chinese Literature" "History of Learning", it turns to two completely different writings of literary history in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1970s by Liu Cunren and Sima Changfeng, who moved south from the Central Plains. Finally, it takes two "ongoing" writing activities as objects to look at the various writing problems that have to be dealt with when "Chinese literary history" wants to add "Hong Kong literature" part, or when "Hong Kong literature" wants to enter the process of "literary history".
