About This Novel

The protagonist of this book, called No. 13, Is a half-human, half-fox boy. He has only one ear and no tail. He is very shy and can hardly speak complete sentences. He is imprisoned in an orphanage to live and work, ruled by the High Hat Party, beaten and scolded by the dean, and ostracized by his own kind. He has no freedom, no dreams, no friends, and is even prohibited from hearing music. Until one day, he suddenly finds that he understands the secret language among animals, and everything changes.
