Appreciation of Ho Chi Minh's Chinese Poetry Collection "prison Diary
About This Novel
In late August 1942, Ho Chi Minh, as the leader of the Vietnam Independent League of the International Anti-Fascist Alliance, set out from his base in North Vietnam and went to Chongqing to meet with Chinese dignitaries. On August 29, he was arrested by the Chinese Kuomintang authorities while passing through Zurong Township, Debao County, Guangxi. He was then escorted to and from 30 prisons. After being detained for 377 days, he was released on September 10, 1943. "Prison Diary" is a collection of poems written by Ho Chi Minh while he was in custody. This book carefully analyzes more than 130 of Ho Chi Minh's prison poems from writing background, ideological content to artistic techniques, one by one, and publishes many pertinent comments. There are often wonderful elucidations of some little-known subtexts and subtexts hidden deep in the poems. The book not only draws on the best of others, but also contains the author's own independent opinions.
