About This Novel
Since cars entered human society, taxis have become a part of people's lives for more than a century. They are cars that people are familiar with and often come into contact with. They are an extension of countless urban living spaces and often best reflect the character of a city or an ethnic group. The same car embodies the lives of different people. The people who drive and those who ride in the car each have their own stories, but due to chance, they are temporarily gathered in the same space. The theme of this book is to use the prism of taxis to show the impressions of people's lives and cars in different countries and regions, and then reveal the memories of cars that have progressed with the times and become increasingly close to people's lives. While readers can appreciate the wonderful taxi customs in different countries, they can also read the stories of people traveling with taxis from near to far over the past hundred years.
