"The Age of Stars" is a literary memoir by the Russian writer I. I. Banaev. Banaev was born in the early 19th century and was active in the Russian literary world from the 1830s to the 1960s. Advanced intellectuals such as Belinsky, Dobrolyubov, and Chernyshevsky also established revolutionary democratic views and advocated critical realist literature during this period.
