This book consists of three parts, the upper and lower parts and appendix. The previous article "Polar Heroes" mainly tells about some events when the advance company of the People's Liberation Army entered Tibet and liberated Tibet. In the face of severe cold, hypoxia, food and water shortages, altitude sickness and other difficulties, the officers and soldiers of the advance company broke through the limits of life again and again and completed the tasks assigned by their superiors. The officers and soldiers of the advance company sacrificed their lives for the smooth march of the follow-up troops into Tibet; they moved the Tibetan compatriots with their warmth and selfless dedication; and they stabilized the reactionary forces in Tibet with their wisdom. "Tibet Years Series: Himalayan Monument" mainly tells some touching stories of the Toula Radar Station, Gambala Radar Station, and Yadong Border Police Station, showing the importance of Tibetan border defense work in the new era, and praising the heroic spirit of border guards and soldiers in the new era; the appendix introduces the construction of the "One River and Two Rivers" project, the green ribbon on the third pole of the earth, and the prosperity it brought to the Tibetan region, as well as the author's interviews in Gacha, which are real and simple.
