About This Novel
After the Anshi Rebellion, the Tang Dynasty flourished and then declined. Chang'an is in turmoil, and the once soft red streets, eight streets and nine roads have all disappeared. Refugees are everywhere, complaining of hunger and cold, all the way to the foot of Zhongnan Mountain... The four teenagers fled together to explore the Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers, a place where freedom of thought is the most common custom in the world. It is said that the Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers is full of rare treasures and secluded places. The Seven Saints of Ten Thousand Flowers are all amazing and talented, looking down upon the world. The owner of the valley, Dongfang Yuxuan, is a master of music, chess, calligraphy, painting, and medicine. The four young men drink yellow rice, recognize peonies, ride on Kunpeng, search for robes, and fight against the gods. They wander in the peach garden. After experiencing life, death and love, and dream-like tests one after another, they still have to face major choices in life...
