From Darjeeling to Kashmir: a Journey into the Heart of the Himalayas
by Wen Zhong
About This Novel
In the spring of 2016, the author went to Benxi University in Kolkata, India, for a year. During this period, the author visited various monasteries, caves and retreat forests in the southern foothills of the Himalayas, as well as countless Buddhist sites, holy sites, and former residences of celebrities. He walked alone, exploring the wonders alone, appreciating the magnificent scenery of the world, and at the same time communicating with and learning from the hermits in the mountains who lived there like "orchids in the empty valley". The joy and freedom of all things in the world and the flight of inspiration of thoughts and spirits pour out from the author's pen, filling the page like sunshine, and the words illuminate a path to the depths of the soul and the realm of civilization.
