In the third autumn, with a casual glance, we discovered that the dark green branches and leaves of the persimmon tree were actually dotted with persimmons. Although they were very small, they were as golden as stars. After some time, the persimmons were as big as a human fist and were so dazzlingly red that they bent the branches. Strangely, under the shadow of the persimmon trees, the flowers and plants in the flowerbed seemed shrunken and eclipsed. Mother stared at the persimmon tree as she stared at us. Everything must be done seriously so as not to feel guilty, just like planting persimmon trees and eating persimmons. Mother harvested the persimmons, and we harvested the truth in this harvest season.
