About This Novel

The title of the book uses only one word: fly. But just this one word makes people think of a lot. I think about the blue sky and white clouds, about walking in the clouds, about freedom, the wind, the birds, the vastness of the universe, and the words in "The Fairy of Magpie Bridge" that "the world is home for thousands of miles" and Li Qingzhao's "Who in the clouds sends brocade books, when the wild geese return, the moon is full on the west tower". He even gets ready to fly and assumes a flying posture. We are not birds, but who of us doesn't want to fly? Who doesn't want to fly? We are just too heavy-headed, too forward-thinking, too worried about gains and losses, so we cannot fly. People were supposed to be able to fly. Our arms were actually wings in the early days. But because of laziness and not flying for a long time, we gradually lost the function of flying. However, as we gradually lose the ability to fly, we begin to yearn to regain our wings and fly freely.
