About This Novel

The author's latest novel. The novel begins with the funeral of Keiko Inoue, the Japanese mother-in-law of the protagonist, Chinese writer Luo Wenhui, and tells the story of this seemingly harmonious transnational family, but in fact it is almost distorted family relationships and the forbidden areas of morality and humanity hidden behind it. The author's analysis of the fate of human nature is quite in-depth. We are generally in self-imposed prisons. Although the reasons are different, we all eventually perish in self-imprisonment. The novel's writing style is smooth and the plot is compact, allowing readers to step into the hearts of the characters and the truth; the language style has a sense of elegance unique to Japanese literature, and has certain literary value.
