Sons of Men
About This Novel
When the end comes, the evil will remain evil, and the great will become even greater. A topical work that deeply criticizes power and warmly praises life in the context of doomsday. No newborns have been born on the earth for 25 years. Humanity has lost its future and has become an endangered species. The end is still coming, in a way that is more cruel than a catastrophe: human beings watch helplessly as their compatriots go crazy, age, and die one by one. The government is still functioning, but under the control of a dictator, using incredibly dark means to maintain a semblance of peace in society. But who cares? Everything will be over within a few decades and humanity will return to dust. But, can humans really become extinct like this? Thousands of years of civilization and ambition can only come to nothing? If a little hope of new life appears at this time, will it be the beginning of a new era, or will it be a victim of power?

The meaning of life lies in the future
This book seems to be a little older, and the writing is a little obscure and it is written in the form of notes. It is not a popular novel, and the plot is not coherent. But after carefully understanding the images in it, I found that he described his memories of his childhood, his marriage, his friends, and his current feelings. It contains a psychological phenomenon, that is, initial memory can affect people's attitude towards life, and hope is the cornerstone of human survival. Without hope, human beings are just like their terminally ill father, living or dying. For me, the images at the beginning can inspire me to pursue an attitude of maintaining hope and pursuing the future.
Too profound.
