About This Novel
"Uncanny Valley" is a novel and the seventh in the series. The narrative is that Douglas, the owner of Birlstone Manor, was unfortunately killed. There was a card next to the body with words composed of numbers and letters scrawled on it. Before his death, Douglas mentioned a place called the "uncanny valley" to his wife, saying that he was trapped in the "uncanny valley" and could not escape this disaster. Holmes unlocked the code, but was also involved in a murder case. After several twists and turns, Holmes finally captured the black hand hiding in the darkness and controlling everyone's destiny. The Pinkerton detective's undercover fighting method described in the novel was later copied and imitated in many thrilling works, which is the so-called "entering the enemy's heart" strategy.
