Arthur Conan Doyle (Arthur Conan Doyle) was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, England in 1859. He attended a church school as a teenager, and later obtained a doctorate in medicine from the University of Edinburgh and was knighted in 1902. From the time he wrote "A Study in Scarlet" in 1886 until his death in 1930, he wrote a total of 60 short stories and short stories with the private detective Sherlock Holmes as the protagonist.
