About This Novel
I risked my life for my dream and became a lunatic and a fool in the eyes of others, but I finally found my true self and finally lived out the meaning of life! One early morning in July, before dawn, Don Quixote put on his ancestral armor, quietly left his hometown where he had lived for more than 50 years, and embarked on the adventure he had dreamed of. --Since he was a child, he has been addicted to knight novels. He firmly believes that the adventure stories in the books are true. He looks forward to one day that he can travel around the world and do chivalry. For his burning dream, he finally took this step! Following him were only a thin old horse, a rusty spear, a follower named Sancho, and all kinds of challenges... The famous name of Don Quixote has long been known to everyone. Now that I have the opportunity to read it, it can be regarded as a regret. Only after reading it can I truly understand his absurdity and madness. Although sometimes I feel that the content is not in line with the main line and I usually skip it, it is still interesting. In short, if a person can be as crazy as Don Quixote, then that is true madness, and the sense of immersion is very strong. It is really NB to be able to write such a masterpiece in that era. Sometimes I really forget that the author is Cervantes.
My spear is worn by the heavy rain, and my armor is rusty, but I charge like Don Quixote.
"When Don Quixote saw thirty or forty windmills standing in the field, he thought they were a group of giants persecuting the princess, so the fifty-year-old gentleman tremblingly mounted his skinny horse, raised his spear, and pounced on them without any hesitation." Maybe Don Quixote's spear could never defeat the windmill, but the moment he mounted his horse and charged, in his eyes, he was still a hero who upheld the dignity of the knight.
