About This Novel
Legend has it that a female ghost with a baby in her arms once appeared on the Ghost Watch Slope of Mingze Island. At night, she sat on a tree branch and looked down at the villagers on the island quietly and eerily. The old man said that the victims of the tsunami lingered on the world and couldn't leave. Now, after many years, he appears again, only to cause one tragedy after another. Young painter Meng Shaohui sets foot on the island accompanied by detective Luo Fei, trying to retrieve the memories he lost when he was young. The only clue is the recurring image of parting with her mother in her dreams. However, the seemingly peaceful island hides murderous intent. Falling to death in a bizarre cave, strangling himself in front of the Tomb of the Dead, having a heart attack despite having medicine in his hand...

Resonance, I still remember what my mother once said to me. She said that she and my father originally wanted a boy, but after I was born, I found out that I was a girl. Because of Zhenhun, I got to know Teacher Ju, because Teacher Ju watched The Nursery, and because of The Nursery, I watched Gui Wangpo, so I have to admire the screenwriter of The Nursery - he adapted a detective novel into a horror film, and he was able to express most of the plot of the novel within the limitations of domestic horror films. The ending turns out to be the same, but Teacher Ju's Meng Shaohui's character is more likable than in the book

A good book with rich content
A thought-provoking book, the development of the story is regrettable. The plot in the book is fascinating, but the method of committing the crime and so on are not too outstanding. Looking great as always! But the boy's heart is really dark. Wouldn't it be great if his mother and brother are all fine anyway? Why must I kill my brother? And Ye Zixin's love for him is also a bit inexplicable.
