About This Novel
This book is the fourth part of Keigo Higashino's Mask series. The first three parts are "The Night Before the Mask", "Masked Hotel" and "Masked Villa". A young woman was brutally murdered and her body was found in her home. An unknown informant letter was found to be true or false. Will the murderer show up at the masquerade? What is the purpose of the whistleblower? The residents are full of doubts and the truth is confusing. How will he and she peel off the cocoons and uncover the "mask"? The movie "Masked Hotel" adapted from the second book in the series of the same name will be released on September 4, 2020.

It took 438 minutes to read it. The novel is wonderfully conceived.
The whole book is relatively boring because the mystery has not been solved, paving the way for the rest. It is not until the last 30% of the article that the mystery gradually comes to light, which is very satisfying and thought-provoking. From monetary interests to the glory of human nature.
