The Ghost of the Island
About This Novel
The story begins with a abnormal love triangle. Medical student Michio Morohe is gay. He falls in love with "me", and "I" is not unhappy. After graduating from college, I went to work at the Chamber of Commerce, where I met 18-year-old Kizaki Hatsudai and fell in love with her. Kizaki's real surname is Higuchi. He was abandoned by his parents when he was young and was later adopted by Kizaki and his wife. The strange thing is that Zhuhu, who cannot love "me", proposes to the first generation. Soon, the first generation was stabbed to death in a closed room. "I" asked amateur detective Miyamaki Kokichi to investigate the truth of the incident. When the case made some progress, Shen Shanmu was stabbed to death at the beach. The first half of the story is based on original reasoning. When the murderer surfaced, the author changed his writing style and entered another complex, strange and thrilling world. Although the structure is inconsistent, it is full of "chaotic fun".

Not bad, so pretty
When I saw this, I was already deeply attracted by the suspense inside. I just wanted to be as obsessed with finding out the original motive of the crime as the hero. Although some of the emotions were too casual (can you say that love has no reason?), Maybe it was just the author's necessary processing of the storyline.
This is the first time I read Ranpo's mystery novel, and I was completely attracted by the bizarre narrative technique! I don't really like the main character's personality as he's too carefree... Anyway, it's well worth watching!
First reading of Edogawa Ranpo's novel + personal mixed feelings
The main narrative style is very attractive to read on. The author leads us like a thread, half telling and half hiding. I read it in one breath. The narrative of the murder plot has a bit of a Sherlock Holmes and Edgar Allan Poe feel, combining horror and ingenuity. The maze section is wonderful. (I don't know much about the structure of Japanese houses. In the Sherlock Holmes series, there are examples of children killing people and the secret room murder acrobatic troupe killing people. I recommend everyone to watch the adaptation of the Sherlock TV series. The changes are relatively big, and Benny plays the role very well)
Very well written
I like reasoning, I'll read it when I have time.
A good book with rich content
Masterpiece
It's pretty good to watch, not a lot of reasoning, and a bit scary.
Good! ! !
