About This Novel
"Escape from Psychology" consists of three short psychological thrillers, the protagonists of which are Mary, a psychological counselor and writer. She tried to start her own writing career, but her experiences and her friends seemed to be colluding, and they kept pulling her back to psychology. Story 1: A black man claimed that he could hear the voice of God, and that God was also a black man. He might not be crazy, but Mary was sure he was hiding something. Story 2: A policeman is unable to shake off his guilt after his father-like partner dies in the line of duty. Mary is "deceived" to seek psychological counseling from him, but before she can escape from the case, she is completely trapped. Story 3: Mary's patient refused to take medicine and was a complete lunatic. Mary disappeared mysteriously after an argument with him. When she was found, the police discovered that she had been the victim of a horrific crime. What happened?
