About This Novel
Ameng and Xiaoye discovered the mysterious village and temporarily settled down. They met the village chief A Niu, the naughty and kind-hearted young Huzi, and the mysterious beauty Qiaoqiao. They also discovered a terrifying forest full of skulls... Crow Mountain looked particularly desolate at night. The sky was covered by thick clouds, and the light of the stars and the moon could not be seen. There was no life anywhere, only bare stone walls and dry branches. Xiaoye and I sat next to the fire in the center of the cave. Eighty percent of the villagers had fallen asleep. Only Xiaoye, Aniu, Huzi, and Qiaoqiao, who we met by the river during the day, were left. The five of us sat around the fire and chatted about daily life.
