About This Novel

In midsummer, a chilling tragedy occurred in the picturesque Cambridge. Mark, a top student at Cambridge, was found hanging in a farmhouse with purple lipstick still on his mouth. Everyone avoids the case, but Mark's wealthy father finds a budding detective agency and authorizes Cordelia Gray to investigate Mark's death. The naive female detective unexpectedly discovered a series of secrets and crimes, and smelled a strong smell of murder. At the same time, danger is approaching again... Is a woman suitable to be a detective? This woman may have a natural advantage when it comes to finding out the truth and seeing through lies; but in some aspects, she disrupts everyone's rhythm. However, pure people have their own set of rules and standards in their hearts, which are even incompatible with the world, but this is the most charming thing about them.

Very exciting! Like Cordelia. I have read two of the author's detective novels, they are very good!
