The rest of the night is already over, and another all-nighter is here. Lights were already shining through the windows of some houses. Those who work the early morning shift are getting up; others, the lucky ones, are staying still for a while longer. But I haven't laid down to sleep yet. There are so many things going on, because I hold the position of Acting Director. Yesterday was a very busy day. It was already one o'clock at night when I got home. But the phone rang again: "Is it Vinyamin Alexanderovich? Lieutenant Vasyutin is disturbing you! A man named Sulin who was on a business trip was shot at the Dawn Hotel and was seriously injured. Golyunov, the prosecutor's investigator, and the doctor were already at the hotel.
