After School
About This Novel
"After School" is Keigo Higashino's famous work. It won the 31st Edogawa Rampo Award and topped the annual mystery list of "Weekly Bunshun". I have been teaching mathematics at this girls' high school for five years, and things have been uneventful, but everything has changed recently. On the way to school last Saturday, someone suddenly bumped into me and I almost fell off the rails; after school on Monday, I was taking a shower at school and almost got an electric shock; on Tuesday, after school, I passed by the teaching building and a flower pot flew out from the third floor and hit my head; on Thursday, after school, someone was poisoned and died in my usual locker room, and the door at the scene was blocked from the inside. I called the police and was determined to investigate. Unexpectedly, another person died in the school, and I was hit by a car on my way home at night. Can I still hide after school this time?

a bit unexpected
Although I knew that Miyuko did have a problem, I didn't expect that she actually killed Maeshima. It was really exciting. Which book by Keigo Higashino is your favorite? Can you share it?
motive for murder
Who knows the youthful heart? Who understands girls' hearts? Secret room crimes have already been written about by others, and Higashino Keigo naturally understands it, so secret room crimes only serve as a foreshadowing. Compared with the method of killing, the motive is often more amazing, and it is the finale of a successful reasoning. Some people may not understand how humiliating it is for a girl to have her hair cut randomly. Some people may not understand how much of a blow it is to adolescent children to be peeked into their private lives. Children who have not yet entered society are like this. They feel that self-esteem, personality, and friendship are the most inviolable. After entering the society, you will slowly feel that except for money, interests and unknown true and false love, there is nothing worth protecting. So the adults' motivation for killing in [After School] is either profit or love. For example, Kyoko Aso who wanted to fly up a branch, Yumiko who cheated on her The motivation analysis of high school girls is even more diverse and difficult to understand. Killing for profit and killing to maintain dignity The motives that are called "unconvincing" are actually the simpler and less superficial among them.
School is scarier than society
This is an isolated place with no bottom line or humanity. A miniature world with all kinds of creatures. Doing the same thing on the surface, true darkness cannot be illuminated. Because as soon as class starts, the curtains will be drawn, blocking the last ray of sunlight, leaving only coldness. Close the window tightly, close the door, keep breathing, and the rotten waste accumulates. You don't know what disasters are fermenting around you, and every tiny move will be infinitely amplified and extended, becoming an anthill that breaks the bank, spilling out the endless wilderness, or the key to Pandora's box, releasing endless power and the sadness and indignation mixed with it. I don't know how long it has been since I was a high school student to see the sun or smell the fragrance of flowers? Not long ago, a classmate was admitted to the hospital without sleep or food. This morning there was a power outage. When I opened the curtains and the sun was shining brightly, everyone screamed, and I joked about "a group of vampires." Yes, we don't need to make money but absorb the pain from many parties, teacher? Parents? Classmate! Own. No one knows what power this will turn into. It's even less likely that anyone knows how to use such power to become a human being? Nothing matters when you are in the deepest pain. I am a person who opens my heart and then closes it. I do this just for a ray of sunshine, my innocent romance. I became mentally ill because of this. Some people say I'm naive. But I'm more worried about how long can my inner Reactor Four be suppressed? How long does it take for this ray of sunshine to be transformed into an uncontrollable force? How long can I remain childish? When I lose my mind, will it be considered a successful growth and a good education? Sorrow. I once tried to turn energy into love, but it was the wrong kind of love, just like the tide of my parents' love, which destroyed everything I loved. This causes flowers and trees to wither, birds and animals to die, lovers to grieve, but energy remains inexhaustible. Ending yourself alive is just an irresponsible escape, transferring your own waste to everything around you, and energy conservation. I'm talking nonsense again, and it's useless to write it anyway. It's unintentional to watch, it's just a joke.
About love
You can't die. After death, Yumiko will become a murderer.
Like Keiko
The famous work is not simple. The ending paragraph is still relatively easy to guess, but I always feel that it would be better without this paragraph. Is it just to give the previous murderer one more choice? In short, I like Uncle Higashino, and I have to admire his meticulous logical reasoning!
This is the first book I read by Higashino, and I have fallen in love with his books ever since.
I just want to know if the protagonist dies in the end?
I was shocked when I saw the back
I saw this book at the Gaotie Bookstore and then searched it. I first read the book review and said that his wife killed him. I took the role of his wife and read every step of the murder. When I saw the ending... It was Keiko and her little friend, I couldn't believe it. But at the end, I understood why his wife wanted to kill him, but the ending was really rushed... (A few words back and forth made me go round and round...) But it's good to read.
Everyone's mental tolerance is really different
This is the second work by Keigo Higashino that I have read. The first one is "Jieyou Grocery Store". I really like "Jieyou Grocery Store"! Let's talk about After School. The first part was very confusing (I was a mess), but the second part felt like it ended too hastily! Every teenager is sensitive and fragile during their ignorant period. Big things may make them wet in their eyes, or small things may hurt them deeply and be difficult to heal! Hard to heal! It's the first time you're born! To his wife, I want to say, if you love her, please love her deeply; if you don't love her, don't hurt her, and it's a pity to leave her!
I bought this book, why are I reading it on my mobile phone?
