About This Novel

Liu He uses a kind of experimental writing (integrating realism, fiction, and history into one style) to present her process of tracking and researching the prototype of a character named "Nesbit" in Nabokov's autobiography. The big concern behind it is the intellectuals who gathered in Cambridge for various reasons in the first half of the 20th century (even focusing on 1919).
